Hey everyone! Here I am holding a flag with the name of my hometown on it. I spotted it in the crowd during one of the competitions and immediately grabbed it to take a picture!

Hi to my hometown!
Hi to my hometown!

Anyway, I finally found some time to write about my volunteer experience in Sochi. I was working as a press assistant at Shayba arena and got to see lots of hokey! Women’s hokey most of all. And guess what? One of my favorite teams was an American team. I really wanted them to win after Russian ladies didn’t make it to the final rounds. Even though US team lost to Canada in finals they are definitely awesome hokey players. Overall I am glad I got a chance to get to know more about hokey in general and women’s hokey in particular. Hopefully I contributed something to the work of the press center at our venue. See you at the Paralympics!
